STORY:

Nina Sterling and Lilly Greenwood might be totally different people from completely different worlds; but a glance at their story and one might assume they were born together.

Judging by their upbringing, a chemistry between the two looked impossible - yet when they first met in middle school after eating lunch together, a strong friendship was born. Nina was the ice for Lilly's hot personality and Lilly was the warm embrace Nina had always wanted.

Throughout their journey through life, Lilly helped Nina in any way she could, her devotion something to behold. Every problem, every demand and everything she could resolve and do to make Nina's life worth living, Lilly would do it in a heartbeat. However on their last year in high-school, Nina came forward about a problem she was having; and to Lilly's surprise, not only did that problem involve Nina herself, but something that she couldn't resolve by throwing fists and insults in the air like the jocks and bimbos that bullied Nina in the past.

Confused, but not giving up on her; Lilly hatched a plan in order to help her dear friend. Question is, what will Nina think of it? And how will she react?

Lilly Greenwood is the daughter of a simple, hardworking family in the outskirts of a rowdy neighborhood, with her mother being a expert shoemaker and her dad being a low tier corporate worker, their jobs taking 75% of their daytime. With all the money going to resources and the bills, her parents didn't had the money to pay for a babysitter; which meant that Lilly had to find enjoyment in another place, with another people. And that's when she began to know her neighborhood. Since she was seven, Lilly would sneak out of the house to find people and friends to play with, her adventurous spirit taking her places she has never seen outside of school and her home.

Her energetic, lovable and little ratchet attitude drew countless kids and even adolescents towards her; playing, laughing together, and sometimes sneaking around the neighborhood to see street fights, ring doorbells and other things she wasn't supposed to see or do. Soon enough, everybody knew (and loved) little Lilly and her group. When the hard work of her parents managed to afford a good school, Lilly had a bit of trouble fitting in the new environment; her loud, no nonsense attitude clashing with the quiet, respectful behavior of a suburban middle school.

One day, Lilly found a lonely, sad girl with black hair and goth style clothing, crying to herself and eating her lunch alone, hidden under a table unseen by the crowd of kids swarming the cafeteria. Feeling empathy and sharing the mutual feeling of loneliness, she decided to approach the girl, sitting down next to and comforting her. Although the girl was hesitant and scared of talking at first, she ended up liking Lilly and decided to open up, venting about problems and discussing mutual interests they had, becoming good friends at the end of the day. Her name was Nina; and the rest... well, the rest is history.

WHO NINA IS:

Nina Sterling is the daughter of a wealthy, influential family in a rich neighborhood, with her mother being a company CEO and her father having political roots. Having all the toys and the luxury her parents and the world could offer, Nina never saw the necessity of going out and making friends; with her only "friend" being the babysitter their parents hired, a young adult woman who was into the goth aesthetic, a style that Nina fell in love with as a child. Unfortunately it was received by ridicule by the students she went to class with and the denial of her religious parents when she began to adopt said style.

After discovering that she learned to dress like that from her babysitter, Nina's parents fired her as she reached the age of eight, leaving her alone and with nobody to talk or relate to, furthermore, the suffering caused by her classmates only intensified as she grew older and reached middle school, with Nina's body suffering from physical development issues. To everyone else, she was too skinny, too small, too ugly to join in... Those words were the weapons that struck Nina's heart, and afraid of getting hurt again, she isolated herself from the world.

One day, whilst eating her lunch alone and crying to herself, hidden under a cafeteria desk, she was caught by surprise when another girl saw her under the desk and tried to comfort her. It was very scary at first, confused as to why somebody was being nice to her, but as the tears stopped and the girl began to cheer her up, Nina couldn't help but feel drawn by her. After a couple of giggles and smiles on their way home, Nina decided to be friends with the girl. And that girl's name... was Lilly.
