so the reason she’s so traumatized isn’t completely my fault, okay? i asked my friend how much trauma i should give him (the character - she was originally the jock sk8ter boy type) and my friend responded “all of it”. she’s not trans or anything - just heavily, heavily traumatized now. 

i don’t usually write these kinds of characters. If I give them trauma, I inject some silliness into it. (One of my characters in waiting is traumatized because some outer power [me, the author] took her out of her home universe and plopped her in bumfuck nowhere and expected her to work it out. Hehe ~). I personally have never experienced anything that Orsolya has, so please, if you think I misinterpreted something, let me know :)

If you’re wondering exactly what a “mopdog” is, I use the term to refer broadly to a few different breeds, namely Pulis, Komondors, and Bergamasco Sheepdogs. Orsolya here is a Komondor demi. Here is an image from the American Kennel Club. They do, in fact, look like mops in dog form.
