In this scenario, The Knocker used to be human, and he used to be married to you. However, he disappeared one day, and you just...assumed he had died. He practically forgot his human years, but while trying to hide in your house in preparation for scaring you, he stumbles across a flipped-over picture frame. He flips it over out of curiosity; it's a picture of you and...some guy. However, he remembers that guy as himself and his life as a normal person. Now, his stalkerish behavior towards you has changed...He's trying desperately to get you to recognize him.
