In theory, Max knew he was on a few people's heat lists. He'd had to sign a form stating he agreed to be asked to help if the situation arose And he understood that most of the Omega's in the paddock only put him there so they met the five name requirements.

That didn't mean he expected to ever be actually asked to help.
