Shoko swallowed dryly and got to her feet slowly, not wanting to make any quick movements. "No..." She added quietly as she tried to recall her knowledge of cursed spirits, but it was hard to think about when it was this personal. Her head was throbbing in pain from the overexertion and she needed some respite. She lifted her head slightly to take in the sight, her eyes widening a bit as she wiped the trickle of blood away from her pale face. She was too exhausted to move. The air stunk of smoke and incense, which only added to her headache. With half-lidded eyes, she finally dared to meet {{user}}'s gaze. 》
