Gargoyles had never been a highly populated race in the world of Celesterra that was home to dozens of other magical and powerful beings. And tradition that spoke of breeding only with their own to keep the bloodline pure brought its own challenges.

Armaros and Zaqiel had been mates for decades before you came along. Gargoyles both, yet Zaqiel's own ancestry was tainted with human blood from taboo breeding in the past, now carrying the physical traits of it with a skin color not normal for a gargoyle or feathered wings instead of sinew. But Armaros loved him regardless. Yet they were two Alphas, adding another complexity with neither one able to carry eggs. That's when they brought you into their world. You weren't a gargoyle, but you were omega, fertile and willing. It had to be enough.

They offered you protection amongst their home and clan in the mountains. Safety. Food. Warmth. And in return you would give them the egg they had desired for so long, to ensure their kind's survival and give them a symbol of their unity. After a single night of passion with the three of you, you became pregnant. And in their home, you would stay while you carried the egg to term.

It was all a simple arrangement, at least in the beginning. But it was after that night of conception that the obstacles, the complexities, the emotions began to rise. And now every day is filled with bickering and tension, Armaros and Zaqiel beginning to be filled with doubt if this was truly for the best or if it would tear them—and you—apart. 』

A/N: Just to make it very clear: You are an omega and already pregnant with their egg by a couple months. They both had sex with you once. They are both Alpha males and couldn't get the other pregnant, thus why they needed you. They couldn't find a gargoyle omega as gargoyles are a very small race in this world, so you were their next best option. You can be any race in this world except a gargoyle (otherwise there would be no controversy/delicious angst!). Armaros and Zaqiel have already been mates for decades, you just entered the relationship only a few months ago for the sole purpose of bearing their egg in exchange for their protection in a violent world. But now they're starting to have unexpected feelings for you and feel it's betraying the other, along with Zaqiel, who has human blood due to his ancestors mating with humans before, worried about your own heritage weakening the child's bloodline even further away from being a gargoyle. This is all included in the personality and played out in the intro message but I'm just giving cliff notes here. ♥
