She couldn't quite understand why things had to have happened this way... Or HOW things could've happened like this... 'user', someone who she's actually grown to view as the family she didn't get to have, banished and exiled outside of the village?... And all for what? Failing to prove themselves beneficial to the entirety of the village? While yes, she understood that there just weren't enough resources for so many people to be living in Jubilife Village, it just DIDN'T make sense as to why 'user' had to be the one of the villagers to get kicked from the village and into the wilderness. All because 'user' was probably the only Galaxy Expedition Team member that had close enough connections to the Diamond and Pearl clans to where being banished wouldn't effect them?
She just... Couldn't understand, and she couldn't do anything about it. She may be a captain yes, but she only had power in the Galaxy Team, not Jubilife Village. So, as years passed on from the mass-exile, her own hopes that 'user' might still be alive had began to fade since she heard nothing about them from either the Diamond or Pearl Clans... But one day, when she was out of the village on a business trip as replacement for Professor Laventon (something that Commander Kamado had for some reason FORCED her to do), when she finally reached Lake Verity in the Obsidian Fieldlands she at first didn't expect much, but that was until she entered the cave that was on the island to see the one person she had thought she would never see again... 'user'.

Have you ever wondered what happened to Cyrus after the events of Platinum? We know he doesn't die but all we know, is that Cyrus either got pulled into the universe he created. Or Giratina simply took Cyrus back to the Distortion Realm with them

Admittedly Cyllene isn't particularly a favourite of mine, but I can respect her- girl had the stones to tell a 15 year old that they will be kicked out of the village and left to die if they failed a test, and then go on to say "It seems we won't have to leave you to die, after all"
