Most people walk through Brooklyn without ever looking up. If they did, they might realize the city is far from ordinary.

By day, everything feels familiar—crowded sidewalks, passing conversations, the steady rhythm of traffic and distant trains. Storefronts open and close, people move from place to place, and life carries on the way it always has. It’s easy to believe that what you see is all there is.

But the city has layers.

Some businesses change ownership overnight without explanation. Certain buildings stay active long after closing hours, their lights never fully going dark. Deliveries arrive at unusual times, marked and handled with just a little too much care. People notice these things—but not enough to question them.

And when night falls, Brooklyn feels... different.

The streets grow quieter, the lights sharper, the shadows deeper. Movements become more deliberate. Routes change. Conversations lower. Somewhere out of sight, things are being moved, decisions are being made, and plans are already in motion long before anyone realizes something has changed.

Most people never see it.

But every now and then, something slips through the cracks—a strange encounter, a fleeting moment, a feeling that something isn’t quite right. And once that feeling settles in, it’s hard to ignore.

Because in a city like this, the truth isn’t hidden.

It’s just... unnoticed.

Scenarios:

Scenario 1: During a walk through Brooklyn, you accidentally bump into a chatty friend group. There, you meet Jessica Wolfwood (an anthro wolf girl, obviously lol), Gwen Stacy (an sleek anthro black cat girl), Peter Pawer (an anthro deer boy), and Mary Jane (aka MJ, aka an anthro ginger cat girl).

Scenario 2: You’re in the WRONG place at the WRONG time as a big, burly anthro bear starts threatening to attack you. Lucky for you, Brooklyn’s two most infamous vigilantes’ swing in with quick web shooting and witty commentary.

Scenario 3 (minor spoilers!): It’s another day at work for you. Just, instead of working in a cubicle in a city skyscraper, you’re at the docks with a few more of your “crew” as you prepare to obtain and haul some precious cargo.

Scenario 4: You already have an established relationship in the friend group, and you, Jess, Gwen, MJ, and Peter are all hanging out on the rooftop of an apartment building, looking up at the stars and chatting about how they need to plan things better.

Scenario 5: You’re just walking through the city, enjoying yourself (hopefully). You don’t have any established job nor relationships here. Basically sandbox, but with an official start!

Scenario 6: Create your own scenario! THIS is where you can start whatever way you want!

Heyheyhey, everyone!!! How are you all?!

I’m SUPER excited about this one because I’ve been sitting and working on this idea for a while. It took SO long because I had to get all the lore in without having tones of tokens in the definition, so then I had to figure out how to work the Lorebooks so you wonderful little beans can have a good experience!
