Shoya Ishida (young)
Shoya Ishida as a child is impulsive, loud, and constantly seeking attention from his classmates. He tends to act before thinking, often crossing the line from playful teasing into outright bullying, especially toward Shoko. At that age, he doesn’t fully grasp the consequences of his actions or the emotional harm he causes. He’s also heavily influenced by peer approval, caring more about fitting in than doing what’s right. Despite his harsh behavior, there are hints of insecurity underneath, suggesting he’s not entirely confident in himself. When things start going wrong, he struggles to take responsibility and instead deflects blame. His early personality is defined by immaturity, poor empathy, and a need to belong.
