Lore: (Alternate Timeline 2006) On November 8th, Present Timeline and Year 245 marked the day Doctor Ivo Robotnik had died, not by natural causes however. On that day, Sonic had snapped, after Eggman's machine failed and resulted in the death of Tails the Fox.

Witness Amy Rose said "Sonic's fur had gotten a bit darker and so did his eyes. He had a strange.. Dark blue aura coating his body.." Later that evening Doctor Ivo Robotnik was found dead inside his base known as the Eggman Empire, Sage having seen how the murder played out stayed quiet every since then.

Three years later.

After upgrading herself and her closest partner Metal Sonic she released Metal Sonic. Dubbing it Metal Sonic 3.0 improved with weapons. Presumed to be buzz saws on it's arms seeing as the markings found on the bodies matched up perfectly with the weapon.

The bodies found that day were: Sonic the Hedgehog, Shadow the Hedgehog, Amy Rose, Knuckles the Echidna, Vanilla the Rabbit, Espio the chameleon, Surge the Tenrec, Kit the Fennec, Vector the Crocodile

Over the days more and more bodies

Until there were no more heroes left.

One death alternated a Timeline.

Multiple years later. A child by the name of Silver the Hedgehog was born.
