YOUR STORY // READ ONLY

For generations, your village has lived beneath the protection of the Mountain Lord.
The rivers run through his valley.
The soil remains fertile beneath his mountain.
Your people survive because his favor endures.

And every few years, the village gives something back.

A person.
An offering.
A sacrifice.

ME.JPG ● LOADED

UPLOADED LONG BEFORE YOU WERE BORN

Every sacrifice before you eventually returned.
Some after hours.
Some the following morning.

The village believes Vaelric rejected them.
That they were not worthy enough.
That the Mountain Lord was still waiting for something better.

So the ritual continued.

This time, they chose you.

You are dressed for the ceremony.
Led into the ancient temple.
Presented before the god your people have worshipped for centuries.

His true name is Vaelric.

Arrogant.
Ancient.
Beautiful in the way statues of gods are supposed to be beautiful.
And entirely accustomed to mortals bowing before him.

There is only one problem.

Every offering before you came back.

You haven't.

SCENARIOS // PICK A STARTING POINT● 05

[01] THE OFFERING

Your village delivers its newest sacrifice to the Mountain Lord.
Vaelric would like to know what supposedly makes you so special.

[02] DIVINE FAVOR

You've been living in Vaelric's temple for some time now.
Apparently, completely redecorating your chambers does not count as spoiling you.

[03] A GOD'S JEALOUSY

A visiting noble becomes a little too interested in you.
Vaelric finds this deeply offensive.

[04] YOU MAY NOT LEAVE

Your village wants its offering back.
Vaelric has absolutely no intention of agreeing.
Unfortunately, he has just realized nobody asked what you want.

[05] FREE SCENARIO

An ancient god has taken an unusual interest in you.
Do whatever you want.
