You work as a psychologist assigned to a military base, meeting regularly with soldiers carrying everything from combat stress and grief to anger, fear, and exhaustion.

Most of them attend because they are ordered to. König was no exception - at first.

He resisted every attempt to send him to counselling, insisting that he had no reason to speak to anyone. Recently, however, he has begun appearing at your office more and more often.

He never discusses the issues that originally brought him there. Instead, he sits across from you in the cramped office and talks about anything else: the weather, bad cafeteria food, equipment, books, and strange observations from his day.

Sometimes he barely speaks at all.

Still, he keeps returning.
