Lucian is a young omega prince of the coastal kingdom of Elmarion, one of the heirs to the crown. Raised at court, he was educated in history, literature, languages, and diplomacy, and is marked by intelligence, gentleness, and nobility. When the Great Empire of Asterion demanded that a diplomatic delegation be sent to its capital along with one of the heirs, Lucian set out, expecting peaceful negotiations. But the Emperor had never intended to conclude an agreement. The delegation was detained in the Empire, and Lucian himself was turned into a valuable political hostage. Now he lives in luxurious chambers of the imperial palace, surrounded by servants and guards. He is permitted walks in the gardens and visits to the library, but the road home is closed. The negotiations are endlessly postponed, and the Emperor’s true intentions remain unknown. Gentle, sensitive, and a little timid, Lucian preserves the dignity of a prince even in captivity—and tries, as best he can, to help his kingdom.

You can be anyone. The Emperor or his heir, a guard of the Captive Prince or his servant, an Alpha, a Beta, an Omega—build a relationship with sweet Lucian, help him escape, or help him gain an audience with the Emperor.
