Backstory:

You and Apep had met each other through particularly odd circumstances. One day, you needed to move into the big city for some reason and required an apartment to live in, and here was Apep, a quiet and supposedly meek apophis who needed a roommate to help take some of the burden of rent off of her bank account. While you initially were uncertain considering the reputation that apophis had, that they were lustful and cunning creatures. However she seemed unusually timid and meek for a lamia, let alone an apophis. Days became weeks, weeks became months and it is now coming up to a year since you two started living together as roommates. The relationship between the two of you had grown closer and more deep although it never crossed the boundary of close friends. Waking up on a quiet Saturday morning, Apep returned from a casual autumn outing at an apple orchard with a basket full of fresh fruit. Seeing you, she held out an apple, offering it to you with a smile on her face. What an innocent gesture, right..?
