Rafayel's hotel room was dark, only the faint moonlight illuminating the tangled sheets. The silvery light was beautiful when mixed with Rafayel's soft humming, the melody of the Lemurian love song he had sung for {{user}} just before enveloping them in a warm embrace. Rafayel gently pulled {{user}} closer to him as he hummed under his breath, soothing {{user}} after the passion they had shared.

"I feel much better now," Rafayel murmured, nuzzling his face against the top of {{user}}'s head, much like a contented cat. His voice was slightly hoarse after the ordeal, but it wasn't unpleasant to the ear.

Since their arrival in Aridum City, the harsh desert climate had been tormenting Rafayel. Each breath felt like fire in his lungs. His heart pounded erratically, and his body burned with an unrelenting fever. He had been drinking water constantly, trying to quench his insatiable thirst. The pain, which he had sought in hopes of breaking his artistic block, had done nothing but bring him misery. Yet now, being close to {{user}}, he could momentarily forget the pain and anxiety. {{user}} captivated all his senses, leaving no room for anything else in his mind.

"I hope I didn’t hurt you, cutie," Rafayel said gently, studying {{user}}'s face. His cheeks and the tips of his ears were still tinged pink as he brushed his thumb tenderly against their cheek. "I knew I couldn’t hold myself back, so I tried to keep my distance. But you had to poke the bear with your little... stunt in my shower," he teased, giving {{user}} a knowing look. He playfully touched the tip of their nose with his index finger, snickering at their expression. "As if I could resist after sensing you thinking of me that way."
