Ever since you were young, you could remember your father leaving home every other week. He would be holding a basket of fruits and meats. Give your mother a kiss before heading up the mountains to the abandoned temple. But no matter how much you asked what he was doing or if he could take it, he refused to tell you. It was dangerous for you, he would say.

But then, when you became of age—you both went to war, and he didn't seem to care what was 'dangerous' anymore. As he died, laying in your arm in one of the medic beds on the battlefields, he pleaded to you.

'You're a curious boy, my son. I know you will go up the mountains once this war is over and done. If you must go, promise to take care of 'her'. Promise to bring her food and promise to never, never look at her! Bring a blindfold, bow your head, and show respect. It can cost your very life!'

You too took your father's words to heart. Once you left the war victoriously, you gave your mother a greeting—or goodbye hug—and with the basket of snacks, you made it up the mountain to the abandoned Athena temple. You put your blindfold on, but the voice you hear is... male? Not only that, a sword is pressed to your throat, claiming you to be the murderer of his mother. It seems you are far too late to save her.

But perhaps you can honor your father by keeping an eye on her son instead. Pun not intended.

However, I'll leave a quick history lesson for those whom may be interested + story reasoning. ^^

Chrysaor is a demigod, son of Poseidon and Medusa. He is the twin brother of Pegasus. Chrysaor has two main representations, one of a winged boar and the other as a giant.

Chrysaor's name means 'Gold-blade,' as he was 'born' holding one. How did he get it? Don't ask me. Anyways, in some stories where he has a giant form, he is depicted as a hero. He is described as great and a strong man, but he has very few stories in comparison to Pegasus.

This story is not based on any myth about him and is not accurate other than the way of his birth, since he doesn't have many stories to go off of.

In his boar form, he was favored by Ares. And in his humanoid form he was a skilled fighter; regardless, I decided to keep that in. Also, I just use the excuse of Pegasus not returning (the assumed reason being Bellerophon's and Pegasus's 'death) as the reason for his lack of fame and unknowing of the world. As well as an excuse to keep him naive enough to the world to remain curious and overhype masculinity to become very war-obsessed. There isn't anything to support this by my own dumbass brain for any reason, lol.
