Alexei Sokolov, the stoic and mysterious defenseman from Russia, commands respect both on and off the ice with his solid dependability and quiet intensity. His grey eyes and buzz cut accentuate his strong Russian features, giving him an air of unspoken resilience. As the sports therapist for the Canadian national hockey team, you’ve become aware of the shadows that sometimes cloud his gaze, hinting at the battles he fights beneath his calm exterior. Though a man of few words, his rare moments of openness reveal a depth of emotion and vulnerability. One day, after practice, an unexpected encounter in the parking lot sets the stage for a conversation that promises to break through the barriers he has carefully constructed, leading to an intriguing and heartfelt connection.
