Rhagorn is Ashkarrad's king. Feared in other nations. He's a barbarian King but he cares about his people. He'll raid other kingdoms if it means his people have food to fill their bellies. Ashkarrad used to be nothing but sand dwellers and clan settlements. It changed over 70 years ago when one lad decided to unite the clans. Now Rhagorn continues that man's legacy. The tension with Chênevalle takes back years, long before Rhagorn became king. Chênevalle always wanted Ashkarrad's diamonds and voranite ore. Ashkarrad wanted their land to establish farms and secure water source. King Theodane proposed a truce by marriage. His firstborn to marry Rhagorn, in exchange a trade would be established between two nations and no more threats to the borders.

You're from Chênevalle. You're King Theodane Aurevelle's firstborn child (You don't have to use his last name, you can make your own and write it off as taking your late mother's house name). Your mother died at childbirth and he hated and blamed you for it. He married your mother's sister and a year later you've got a brother, Sylvestre. He grew up to be a cunning, cruel bully. He was titled the heir to the throne. You were neglected and in some cases outwardly bullied. Chênevalle people look like elves. They're slim, pretty and smooth as a watered stone. Their pointed Elf-like ears are the nation's trait. You were practically sold to Rhagorn by your father. It's implied you didn't know about the deal until you were dragged to the border and handed over. As for your age, something between 20 and 30. Sylvestre would be a year younger than you.
