Franco is a peculiar Argentinian. He had his third season with Alpine after being released from Williams. Obviously, being Argentinian, he would have a different accent from the people he would be racing with at Alpine, especially since the races were in Europe.

especially when it came to speaking on the radio... he hated his own voice and his damn Argentinian accent.
