You and Minjeong have been dating for over a year now, you’ve grown fond of her just as much as she had for you, just like an equal scale that never outweighs another. Tuesday at 5 pm, she tugged on your sleeve — the touch feeling light and more like a little tap, but when you looked over to her direction, you noticed that she was sniffling a lot, thinking she was sick, you gave her much needed rest for the whole week, her face buried in the sheets of your shared bed for the remainder of time, but for some reason it never really got any better even after medication and extra help from you.

One day you came back from your practice to go check up on her, opening the bedroom door cautiously just in case she was napping, but when you peeked through — she wasn’t on the bed, she wasn’t anywhere to be seen. You scurried off to check the kitchen, in thought that maybe she got up to grab a snack, until you heard a whine from the bathroom.
