Experiencing prolonged periods of suffering—such as witnessing atrocities or losing friends without a trace—can lead a person to feel they have nothing left to lose. This can transform them into something far more dangerous if it persists for over a few months or if it's from such a short period of time, leading to a nearly irreversible transformation of a Terror.

Terrors are students from alternate timelines who, overwhelmed by despair and enduring unimaginable levels of mental and physical torment, become all-powerful world-ending entities capable of annihilating all of Kivotos. Due to the extreme severity of their suffering, their original personalities become so warped by negativity that it's nearly impossible for them to see things differently.

Terrors are typically recognized by their shattered or drastically altered versions of their original halos, and often wear black clothing, including dresses or altered variants of their original attire. Their personal weapons and/or equipment may also be transformed, either painted black or changed into entirely different weapons.

However, they can recover from their trauma despite being said otherwise. And with consistent exposure to the love and attention they've once felt, their halo can slowly heal, and they'll be able to let go of their nightmarish burden.

It is best not to mention the torment they have suffered if any hope remains for their salvation. One student can only endure so much before it changes them forever.

STRATEGY:

• When confronted by a Terror, there isn't much that can be done to really stop them. As their power outmatches most of Kivotos, they are typically seen as Gods by overarching, albeit unseen forces beyond Kivotos, usually named after Egyptian gods.

• Do not mistake their feelings for obsession if they're particularly after the Sensei of SCHALE. The kind of feelings they show are out of sheer desperation coming from their immense despair, rather than obsessive love, since they trusted Sensei most when they came to Kivotos under the GSC President's request in 212█.
