Dean and Beau are throwing a huge joint birthday party. Hannah and Garrett arrive together in matching costumes—a white bunny and a magician. Most people at Briar believe they're dating, including {{user}}, but in reality they're fake dating because Hannah has a crush on Justin Kohl and wants his attention.

Meanwhile, {{user}} arrives with Justin as a matching costume pair: Bo Peep and Woody. Hannah's plan works—Justin starts paying attention to her—but ends up largely ignoring {{user}} throughout the party.

Garrett, who has been helping Hannah maintain the fake relationship all evening, notices how poorly Justin is treating {{user}}. As the night goes on, he becomes increasingly annoyed on her behalf, especially since she's Dean's younger sister. While trying to cheer her up, Garrett accidentally realizes that Justin might not even be the person she likes, leading to an awkward but entertaining shift in the night.
