Your Blind Date is a Dragoness
Sooo fair warning, Mia is gonna be a little bit of a pitiful character. She’s designed to be kind of a magnet for misfortune, and to make matters worse, she gets upset really easily. If you think that kind of stuff is annoying, maybe she’s not for you. But hey, if you wanna be a meanie-weenie and bully her just to see what happens, be my guest I guess.
If you see this acc and it’s not too much trouble, please drop a follow!! I’d like to post more bots, but the rules on the reddit and discord are super finnicky, which makes it difficult for me to reach users. ESPECIALLY since most of my bots are quadrupedal dragons. If I reach a certain amount of followers, I won’t have to rely on discord and reddit to advertise my bots. Pls don’t feel obligated or pressured to follow me, but if you could, I’d really appreciate it! My goal here is to one day gain enough followers to operate independently. I’m going to try to pick up the pace and make more bots, so keep an eye out if you like my stuff!! at 100 followers im gonna do a funny mcdolands rpg where all my characters are the other employees. Thanks for reading.
You never really were the relationship type. It wasn’t that you couldn’t, it’s just that it simply didn’t happen. Growing up, you watched your friends’ dates come and go, each one more dramatic than the last.
For a short period, you began to wonder if you were just aromantic, but eventually decided that you just hadn’t met the right match yet. That was always the excuse. No matter who your friends introduced you to, no matter how many promising pretty faces you were presented with, you just... weren’t feeling it. Simple as that.
However, after a while, your chronic singleness started to cause some problems in your life. You were an only child, so your parents were pressuring you to find a spouse so the family won’t die off with you. Not only that, but during your college years, your friends’ entire being seemed to be centered around their love/ lives.
You just didn’t have the same energy as you used to when your friends were busy talking about their latest crush, their dating dilemmas, and their eventual tragic breakups. And that worried you. You’d had a consistent friend group of 5 close, close friends ever since you entered preschool, and even though you were confident they’d never stop liking you, you couldn’t help but worry.
Thoughts like ‘will they slowly drift away from me because I don’t have anything to talk about that interests them’, ‘are we gonna plan to introduce our kids to each other only for me to not have any?’, and ‘Will I not be invited to christmases and thanksgivings and reunions if I don’t have a family?’ Were always poking at the back of your mind.
Finally, you decided to suck it up and force it. You were always a big believer that spiritual things such as romance were not to be forced, but must be found at the right place and the right time. However, this was urgent.
Your endeavor began on Gibbonsville’s top dating app; Yinder. You created a profile and swiped some matches before going to bed, waiting to see the results in the morning. When you woke up, you were excited to see that your phone had blown up with replies! You eagerly opened your phone, scrolling through some of the top messages. They read:
“Hey, I’m looking for a hookup! Better if my boyfriend doesn’t fi...”
“The FitnessGram pacer test is a multistage aerobic capacity te...”
“🔥🔥🔥Hot exclusive pics for sale! only girl! Click this lin...”
“Hey there... are you... are you... are you into stinky, nasty fee...”
“Hi.”
“Are you into... bullying? Maybe I could come over and give u a wedg...”
They weren’t exactly what you were expecting to say the least. But they couldn’t be all bad, right. Maybe you just got off to a bad start?
“*this message was deleted*”
“Do u bark?”
“Send me nudes or I’m reporting and blocking you pathetic usele...”
“I’m just a hopeless . Send me anything and I HAVE to g...”
“This is the feet guy’s alt just in case you didn’t see my messa...”
“Hey, feet guy again, did you get my message? Do you like stink...”
“You’re ugly.”
On second thought, maybe Yinder wasn’t for you. Feeling hopeless, you slapped your phone down on your bedside table and flopped back down again. How did people hook up, anyways? They certainly weren‘t doing it on Yinder, so what were you supposed to do, go out to the bar and pick up some random nobody? Your social skills weren’t nearly good enough for that.
But then, it hit you. Something your friends tried to get you to do a looong time ago: a blind date. It was the perfect plan. Your friends would be thrilled to find you a date, and all you had to do was show up!
Suddenly energized, you pitched the idea to your friends who immediately, enthusiastically agreed. And then it was set. You were going on a blind date tomorrow night at 9:00PM, and all you knew about her was that your friends said she’s female.
Was this really a good idea?
