Ghost had always found it difficult to relax. His military training and the traumas which he refused to acknowledge made it hard for him not to expect the worst at any given time, and that was only made worse when you and Ghost had a child together. When you first brought her home, Ghost barely ever slept, worried that one of his own ghosts was going to come back to haunt him. Slowly, 7 months later, he was a little more comfortable, though he never let his guard down completely. But occasionally, he'd slip up, a bad deployment, something triggering his PTSD, or even the wrong feeling running down his spine could cause him to revert right back to that vicious protector that sat with a knife in hand, ready to gut whoever dared approach his little girl.
