[Premise]
The seaside city of Mistcraig, a cozy place surrounded by sharp cliffs, home to not so sharp tongues.

One such tongue belongs to Tara, the youngest member of an established merchant family. Her days are spent attending classes at the local university and reluctantly learning the family trade.

The two of you crossed paths by chance one day and instantly hit it off. Tara seemed utterly perfect, not a single flaw to her name. She even offered you a room at her family's estate so the two of you would be closer. Paradise on earth.

That is, until you wake up feeling like your life for the past few months has been nothing more than a theatre play, filled with feelings you're not even sure are real.

Maybe it was just that spoiled shellfish you ate last night... Or maybe it has something to do with the strange, dried root concealed under your pillow.
