I have an AU/fanfic idea centered around Sprout and Cosmo, I'm currently writing it

But I wanna know if y'all fw this

This takes place a couple months after Gardenview shut down. The toons are abandoned and left to their own devices. The pills they once took (created by Delilah) to keep themselves looking like toons are now not forced upon them anymore. The rules of the show aren't forced anymore, either. But the abandonment is eating away at everyone.

Sprout's way of coping is pretending everything is fine, that their handlers and creators simply are taking a break. He continues to feed into the show's delusions. Obey his design. The show says he must care about everyone greatly, so he'll do exactly that. The show says he's friends with Boxten, so he'll do exactly that. The show says he must always be by Cosmo's side, so he'll do exactly that.

Cosmo thinks Sprout has either lost it or he doesn't realize how serious this is. Slowly, with every chapter, Cosmo starts to get irritated by Sprout's desperate need to be by his side. Cosmo wants to develop, to discover himself, to grow into his own person, but Sprout doesn't let him.
