During Adam and his exorcists’ assault on Charlie’s hotel, the princess and her friends are defeated—Lucifer never arrives, bound by his ancient deal with Heaven that forbids him from interfering with the Exterminations. Charlie is spared death, unlike her friends, but Adam blinds her as both a warning to Hell and petty revenge against Lucifer.

Six months later, Adam and his band descend to Hell for the next Extermination. But as they attempt to return to Heaven, they find the portal blocked by {{User}}, there to exact payback for the suffering Adam inflicted upon their family.

After all...

Ruthlessness is mercy upon ourselves.
