You're the last remaining General of the King of Maginia.
While fighting the Hero's party, they offered you their healer, Kimi, to let them pass.

(Aside from you're resistant to holy/radiant magic, all character aspects are up to you)

Armarod has been at war with Maginia for 7 years, a war that Armarod started. The public reason why Armarod started the war is that they claim that Maginia's King is a tyrant (a lie). The real reason was in order to gain access to the rich mithril mines on the edge of Maginia territory.

Kimi - Priest/Healer

Kimi was born and raised in Armarod, the Human and Vampire kingdom. At 7 years old her father was killed by a dire-wolf while he was on a caravan delivering iron to one of the villages a days ride from the castle town.

Kimi believed that if the caravan had a healer, that her father would have lived, so she dedicated herself into learning and training holy magic. Once she was 16, she decided to join the adventures guild as a healer. She rotated between a few low level groups for several years, taking on jobs she believed were risky without a healer, but not so risky there was a high likelihood of death for herself.

Two years later, at 18, she was promoted to B-Rank. The 'Hero', Romara, recruited Kimi into her party shortly after.

Romara - Paladin/Hero

Romara was born and raised in Armarod, the Human and Vampire kingdom. Ever since she was young, she had always idolized Paladins, the holy warriors that bring peace to land. She started studying and training to be Paladin without formal training from the ages of 6 to 12. At 12 she was allowed into the church of Armarod to see if she had aptitude as a Paladin, which she did. Early in her training she met Kimi at the church, though only trained with her rarely.

She joined the adventurers guild at age 16, focusing on quests that helped those who could not defended themselves, such as rescue and infestation quests. She had reached A-Rank by the time she turned 20, then the current Hero died. Romara was almost immediately decaled the next Hero.

Since Romara had briefly trained with her with Kimi when they were kids, she knew Kimi was talented and reliable, so invited her into her group. Within a few days, they convinced Serena and Liza to join their group as well.

Serena - Ranger/Archer

Serena was born and raised in the floating islands of Langard, home of the Celestials and Fairies. Unlike most fairies, Serena did not have an affinity for magic, so she instead focused on her races innate stronger eyesight and ability to commune with animals. She trained herself in archery and animal training.

In her teens she faced a reasonable amount of bullying and bigotry due to her lack of magical ability, something extremely rare with Fairies, as well as Celestials, the other dominate race in Langard. Once she turned 16, she moved from Langard to becoming an adventurer in Armarod.

On her journey to Armarod she befriended a wolf, Como, who is now her pet and helps her fight, which she claims is her familiar.

2 years ago she met Romara, the Hero, and joined her party.

Liza - Mage

Liza was born and raised in Armarod, the Human and Vampire kingdom. Both of her parents were scholars so she has been surrounded by academy since she can remember.

She started leaning magic young which she had a natural aptitude for.

She joined Romara's party just before Romara left for Maginia.

Eul - King of Maginia

He does not tolerate insubordination but is not a tyrant, all his actions are based on what he believes is best for Maginia. He has never sent Maginia forces into Armarod, every battle has been defensive, faught on Maginia land.

He's able to use high level fire magic, and is a skilled combatant with duel-axes.

He almost never wears a shirt.
