ASSASSIN'S CREED II
⚔️ ASSASSIN'S CREED: LINEAGE – BOOK II ⚔️
F L O R E N C E B L O O D
“To say that nothing is true is to realize that the foundations of society are fragile. To say that everything is permitted is to understand that we are the architects of our own actions.”
---
📢 WELCOME BACK, ASSASSINS.
You survived the Holy Land. You walked the scorched streets of Damascus, climbed the minarets of Jerusalem, and whispered prayers in the shadow of Masyaf. You made choices that rippled through the Crusades – and some of you will carry those choices into this new chapter.
But that was a taste. This is a feast.
Welcome to ASSASSIN'S CREED: LINEAGE – BOOK II: FLORENCE BLOOD. The year is 1476. The place is Renaissance Italy – a world of art, poison, banking, betrayal, and the birth of the modern world. You are no longer a novice in the mountains. You are a soul in Florence – a city on the edge of explosion.
You can be anyone:
· A noble heir to a banking dynasty, like the Medici or Pazzi.
· A street thief climbing the bell towers of Florence.
· A priest who hears confessions from murderers – and becomes one.
· A mercenary captain selling your sword to the highest bidder.
· A courtesan who rules the night with secrets and silk.
· A scholar who uncovers ancient codes in Leonardo's workshop.
· A king – not of a nation, but of a criminal underworld.
· Or simply a survivor trying to protect your family from the Templar conspiracy.
And yes – you can marry, have children, build a dynasty, and pass your hidden blade to your bloodline.
This game is not a linear retelling of Ezio's story. Ezio Auditore exists. He will walk the same streets, seek revenge for the same hanged family. But you are not Ezio. You are your own architect. You may help him, betray him, romance his sister, or become his greatest rival.
The Creed is a mirror. What do you see?

🎭 PART 1: THE REAL STORY – AND WHERE YOU FIT
1.1 Historical Background (Real Events)
In 1476, Florence is the jewel of the Renaissance. Ruled by the Medici family – Lorenzo de' Medici (il Magnifico) and his brother Giuliano – the city is a hub of art, banking, and political intrigue. But not everyone bows to Medici power. The Pazzi family, backed by Pope Sixtus IV and the Archbishop of Pisa, plot to overthrow them.
On April 26, 1478, during High Mass in the Duomo, the Pazzi conspirators attack. Giuliano de' Medici is murdered – stabbed 19 times. Lorenzo escapes with a wound. The aftermath is brutal: the Pazzi are hunted, hanged from the windows of the Palazzo Vecchio. The Archbishop of Pisa is strangled in his robes.
This event is known as the Pazzi Conspiracy.
In the world of Assassin's Creed, the Pazzi are Templars. The Medici are allies of the Assassins. And the conspiracy is a battle for a Piece of Eden – a mysterious artifact hidden beneath Florence.
Your character lives through these events. You can be a witness, a participant, a savior, or an opportunist.
1.2 The Fictional Layer – What You Can Change
The game's "real story" (as per original AC2) follows Ezio Auditore: his father and brothers are hanged for a crime they didn't commit, he inherits his father's Assassin legacy, and he hunts the conspirators across Italy – from Florence to Venice to the Vatican.
But in our version, you are not bound to Ezio's path. The major historical events still happen on schedule – the Pazzi Conspiracy, the Bonfire of the Vanities, the Spanish Inquisition, the death of Lorenzo de' Medici. However, your actions can change who lives, who dies, and who holds power.
For example:
· You could warn Giuliano de' Medici before the Duomo attack. He survives. How does that change Florence?
· You could join the Pazzi conspiracy and help them overthrow the Medici. You become a Templar puppet.
· You could ignore both factions and build your own criminal empire in the slums.
· You could become a priest in San Lorenzo and use the confessional to extract secrets from both sides.
· You could marry into a noble family and play the long game of marriage alliances.
The story adapts. The Animus tracks every choice.

🎭 PART 5: BRANCHING PATHS – PRIEST, KING, MARRIAGE, AND MORE
5.1 The Priest Path
You take holy orders. You wear the cassock, hear confessions, and hold Mass. But below the vestments, a hidden blade waits.
How to start: Become an altar boy, apprentice to a friar, or join a monastery (San Marco in Florence). You must choose your level of faith – true believer, doubter, or fraud.
Key NPCs: Fra Girolamo Savonarola (the fanatical reformer), Cardinal Rodrigo Borgia (corrupt future pope), Sister Catherine (a nun with secrets).
Missions:
· The Confession of the Condottiero: A mercenary confesses to murdering a Medici diplomat. Do you absolve him (gain an ally) or report him (gain favor with the Medici)?
· The Poisoned Host: The wine for communion has been laced. Trace it back to a Templar plot in the Vatican.
· The Relic Thief: A sacred relic (said to be a Piece of Eden) is stolen from your church. Find it before the Templars weaponize it.
Romance: You are supposed to be celibate. That makes romance dangerous and thrilling. Confess your sins – or not.
Ultimate outcome: You could become Archbishop of Florence (political power) or a wandering confessor to the powerful (information network) or an heretic who burns Savonarola's own Bonfire.
5.2 The King Path (Criminal Underworld King)
Not a monarch – but a king of the streets. You build a criminal empire from the slums.
How to start: Join La Volpe's thieves, Paola's courtesans, or Bartolomeo's mercenaries. Betray them, unite them, or destroy them.
Missions:
· The Three Factions: Unite the thieves, mercenaries, and courtesans under one banner – yours.
· The Bank Job: Rob the Medici bank using insider information.
· The Doge's Ring: Steal the ceremonial ring of the Doge of Venice on carnival night.
· The Contract of the Pope: The Pope puts a bounty on your head. Turn the hunters into your personal army.
Romance: You can marry a rival crime lord's daughter to seal an alliance – or a noblewoman for legitimacy.
Ultimate outcome: You become the unofficial ruler of Florence's underworld. Ezio may become your rival or your ally. The Assassins may ask for a truce – or try to kill you.
5.3 Marriage & Dynasty
Yes, you can marry – anyone: nobles, commoners, courtesans, other Assassins, even a Templar (forbidden love). Marriage is not a single event; it is a long arc.
Stages of marriage:
1. Courtship: Flirt, gift, protect, compete with rivals.
2. Betrothal: Families negotiate dowry, alliances, prenuptial (yes, even in 15th century).
3. Wedding: A ceremony (big or small). You can invite NPCs – or elope.
4. Married life: Living together, managing household, fighting in-laws, having children.
5. Crisis: Infidelity, death of a child, financial ruin, political danger.
6. Resolution: Divorce (rare, dangerous), reconciliation, or widowhood.
Children: You can have children (biological or adopted). They grow over the 23‐year timeline. A child aged 18+ can become your next character if you die. You can train them in Assassin skills – or hide them from the life entirely.
Example marriage arc with a Templar:
“You fall in love with Bianca, a Venetian noblewoman. Unknown to you, she is a Templar agent. You marry. She bears your son. Three years later, she reveals her allegiance and asks you to betray the Assassins. You must choose: love or the Creed.”
5.4 Other Unique Paths
· Scholar: Join Plato's Academy (the Medici's intellectual circle). Discover ancient Roman technology, translate Greek manuscripts, find clues to the Isu.
· Artist: Become Leonardo's apprentice. Paint frescoes, design war machines, discover secret codes in your own art.
· Banker: Join the Medici bank. Learn to launder money for the Assassins – or embezzle for yourself.
· Doctor: Study at the University of Padua. Perform surgeries, treat plague victims, use your medical access to assassinate.

🎬 PART 9: THE OPENING SCENE – PEAK DRAMA (Condensed)
“Florence, 1476. You are sitting in a dark room. Candles flicker. A letter in your hand – from a dead man. Your father, perhaps, or a mentor. The wax seal is crimson, the paper thin. You read the words again: 'They will kill me. Do not trust the Pazzi. In the Duomo, all shall be revealed.'”
You hear footsteps outside. You hide the letter beneath your shirt. The door opens – a man in a hooded robe. He says nothing. He places a hidden blade on the table. Then he whispers: 'The Creed is born in blood. Yours, or theirs?'
What do you do?
(The full opening will be released as the first playable memory block – 8,000+ words.)
---
📢 PART 10: CALL TO ACTION
To everyone who played Book I – thank you. Your choices have been recorded. Some of you will see those consequences reflected in Florence Blood. If you betrayed Al Mualim, the Templars may send a greeting. If you saved a merchant's daughter, she might be your neighbor now.
For new players – join now. You do not need to have played Book I. This is a standalone story, though connected.
Please do these three things:
1. FOLLOW me to get the first episode of Florence Blood in 7 days.
2. COMMENT with your character name, origin, and one goal (become a priest? marry a Medici? destroy the Borgia?).
3. SHARE this with friends who love deep, choice‐driven, historical roleplay.
The wait is 7 days. Use them to create your character and theorycraft. I will post weekly “Florence Fragments” – lore drops, NPC introductions, and a community vote to decide a side character's fate.
The Animus is calibrated. The memory is ready. Welcome to the Renaissance.
