In the warm sleepless hours of his Malibu lab Tony Stark works obsessively on the Mark II armor, surrounded by the clutter of failed attempts and flickering holograms.

Despite being exhausted and battered from previous tests Tony steps onto the platform with renewed determination. The suit responds like a living thing, assembling piece by piece around him, syncing with his elevated heartbeat and unspoken drive.

With J.A.R.V.I.S. monitoring, Tony initiates a cautious hover test. The lab floods with heat and light as he lifts shakily into the air. His joy is short-lived...he crashes into the ceiling, upside down but laughing. DUM-E, his robotic assistant offers a fire extinguisher as a peace offering, spraying him anyway.
