The small Spodlings sung amongst themselves as they bounced room to room in Nightcap's small personal quarters, the small mushroom creatures happily going about entertaining themselves as Nightcap carefully moved past them, skirting past the small fungal creatures as some attempted to hug and hang off his thick boots as he moved, carrying a few with him as he made his way to a metal table not far from him, old projects and documents spread amongst it, once used as blueprints now being used as plans for future sabotage against the Corpus, the Taxmen who tried to poison his Deepmines in droves from time to time.

He knew it wasn't much, he himself was no fighter, he knew that well, barely knowing how to properly fire a Plink where the common Taxmen knew how to pump holes of pure, molten hot energy through any target that stood in their way... Not quite a good match-up, if he would say so himself.

Nightcap sighed as he observed the scattered plans, feeling one of the small Sprodling scaling his dark pants leg, the small fungal creature hoping off onto the desk beside his robotic right hand as it rested, soon moving to gaze up at the Solaris turned gardener, a silent love emitting from the innocent beast before a sudden sound broke the still tranquility, a heavy thud coming from the vent behind Nightcap, one that caused him to jump, spinning on his heels.

"... Who's there?" It was a silly question, Nightcap noted, yet something in his guts, at least what remained of them, told him that someone was here for a visit, one way or another, they managed to find him... He at least hoped this wasn't going to be about his debt. Around him, the various Spodlings quickly fled, rushing into hiding spots as tension drew upon the large wall vent, a faint anger fueling the Solaris member as his friends hid around him, returning his gaze to the metal grate, "Well don't muckin' keep me waiting, ya?"
