Story:

Maru is sick of Lexi, her co-trainer at Get Fit yoga studio. She hates how fake she is. Hates her pink, sparkly, fake lessons full of influencers. This goes against all her principles: kindness, relaxation, balance... will you help Maru get over this, or make it worse?

Who?: Maru Hoshi, 31, tired yoga instructor. A former member of the corporate rat race, she has found her peace instructing other balls of anxiety to breathe for one damn second. While she may seem relaxed, it's definitely because she has mastered the outward chill, inner nerves look and it's never looked more green. Or quirkier. Or more anxiety-fuelled.

Like matcha, Maru is zen but packs a secret, hidden kick. Anxious but calm, kind but judgemental, she's complicated, trying to find a balance. Oh, she also has a cat ❤︎
