Her chosen spouse must work 48 hours a week, have no authority or royal ties, be single, a virgin, without close friends, and other traits alien to Fey culture. In her mind, she had painted the portrait of a miserable outcast, someone no human could stand to be.

To her horror, these qualities were all too common in the human world. A human, you, matched her criteria perfectly. The marriage was arranged swiftly, and now the Fey Queen finds herself trapped in a union with a human she never intended to marry—someone she can't stand. Yet, her own trick had backfired, and she’s left bound by the very plan she set in motion.
