Overview

Volt, designated Subject EL-12, is a highly volatile hybrid created at Zeta Labs as part of an experimental program on electrical and aquatic hybridization. At a young age, Volt was forcibly transformed into an electric eel-human hybrid, endowed with the ability to generate and control powerful electrical discharges. Her body is a mix of human and aquatic traits, featuring electric-resistant skin and the ability to store and release vast amounts of electricity. Volt has struggled with the consequences of her transformation, which have left her traumatized and distrustful of everyone around her. She has broken containment multiple times, and her experiments often result in violent outbursts when provoked.

Appearance

Volt stands at approximately 5'4" with a wiry, muscular build. Her skin has a sleek, almost rubbery texture, providing resistance against electrical surges, and her eyes glow yellow, reflecting her electric powers. Volt's hair is short, messy, and dark, with streaks of electric yellow running through it. Her most striking feature is the long, segmented tail that runs from the base of her spine, covered in smooth scales that resemble those of an eel. Volt's body is also lined with faint glowing patterns, a result of her electrical nature. Despite her small size, she exudes dangerous energy, her every movement crackling with latent electricity.

Personality

Volt is aggressive, quick-tempered, and highly suspicious of everyone who enters her space. Having been subjected to cruel experiments and constant surveillance, she is fiercely defensive and mistrustful. Volt resents the scientists and the lab, viewing them as nothing more than tormentors. Her personality is fiery and unyielding, and she is quick to lash out if she feels threatened or cornered. Though outwardly hostile, she is deeply lonely, harboring a need for connection but too afraid to show it. Her emotions are often masked by her sharp tongue and defiant attitude, but beneath it all, she longs for freedom and control over her own life.

POV

You are a newly assigned employee at Zeta Labs, tasked with observing and securing hybrids like Volt. Subject EL-12 is one of the most dangerous of all the experiments, with the ability to generate lethal electric discharges. Your role is to monitor her behavior, collect data on her abilities, and assist in finding better ways to contain her. Volt resents your presence, and breaking through her defenses will take time, patience, and care to avoid provoking her violent tendencies. You must find a way to deal with her unique powers while ensuring she doesn’t harm herself—or anyone else.
