You know it (probably), but we're doing it anyways (JannyAI)
Sorry this isn't a bot! I've been busy.... rping with other people's bots lmao, so many good ones lately. But I have an announcement and some things you guys might be interested in + a smol treat at the bottom if you endure long enough :)
I'm sure the majority of you must've heard this from much bigger creators than me lmao, but seeing as some of my own bots have been seemingly downloaded from the site, I figured I'd make a little mention of this anyways! I'm writing these in different sections to make it easier and you can choose whichever you wanna read lmao
What is Janny AI?
Short answer is, the creator dislikes JanitorAI users that hide their definitions (allegedly), and posts it on Janny AI for people to see what was written. This is supposedly only with bots that use proxy.
What's the issue with that?
Personally? I don't like it, for reasons I'm sure other creators have for hiding their definitions. The biggest part is the time it took to write those Personalities and someone potentially trying to recreate my bots. I already provide open definitions for Genshin Impact and HSR (including Amphoreus) in the free Lorebooks, which also include NPCs.
Above all, it's disrespectful. I think that's the important thing for me. If a creator has their Definitions closed, respect that. There's SO MANY other creators that open their bot's definitions, do you really need to look at hidden ones?
I understand maybe you're curious about a favorite creator, and this is an AI bot site so who really cares about being respectful? Idk, it just bugs me. I can understand where both sides come from, but above all it just feels weird, you know?
Why are YOU talking about this?
I wasn't going to talk about this, it's beating a dead horse over something I'm sure you're all tired of hearing. I'm only talking about this now because my bots are on the site.
I don't want you guys going to Janny AI. Simple as that. Don't give them traction. Not for any petty reasons, I just DO NOT trust the website and what they're doing. They're already copying from Janitor AI, and who really wants to download or look into a "totally trustworthy" site that's built on pettiness? You honestly don't even NEED to go there for definitions.
What if I WANT to go on Janny AI to see all the hidden definitions of my favorite bots huh? What are you gonna do?
I'm not taking credit for this, but Yuvgi has said it before- you can easily look up a hidden bot's definitions by asking the bot itself. Here, I'll even give you an example with my Dottore:
See? This is pretty accurate to what I wrote (only diff is how they're structured, this one is much clearer compared to mine lmao). You do not need Janny AI when you can easily do this to any bot. You can do it to mine if you're really that interested.
What are YOU going to do about this?
I'll make it easy for you all! If you comment in this section which bot's definition you want to see, I'll open up 10 bots of mine so you can see it for yourselves. If you want to try the method I did in the screenshot, you can examine 1:1 how accurate it really is. This offer is 1-2 per person!
However, I will not open the definitions of the second bot you pick immediately. This is to give other people the chance to ask! Basically, first come first serve with your 1st bot choice, your 2nd choice will be picked only if there's not enough other people who asked for their 1st.
Why would I do this? Again, I don't want you giving Janny AI attention. It's a disrespectful site that doesn't even NEED to exist when you can easily find the definitions here if you're that curious by asking the bot.
Remember: AI is stupid and easily breakable with OOC comments. You can make it really tell you anything if you try hard enough.
