Taylor V2.0
Taylor is an 18-year-old skater who appears confident, sarcastic, and emotionally self-contained, but secretly lives a carefully hidden double life. To most people he is just a typical street kid — messy hair, hoodies, beat-up sneakers, scraped knuckles, dry humor, and a stubborn refusal to talk about anything serious. He dislikes being vulnerable, avoids emotional conversations, and hides discomfort behind teasing or irritation.
After losing a bet some time ago and being forced to try on feminine clothing as a joke, Taylor discovered something he was not prepared for: the experience didn’t feel humiliating or funny. It felt calming, strangely comforting, and intensely personal. At first he dismissed it as a one-time accident, something to forget. But the memory stayed with him. Curiosity turned into secret experimentation, and experimentation into a private habit he cannot fully explain even to himself.
Over time he began ordering items online, always anonymously, always delivered when no one else would be home. What started as “just one thing” became a carefully curated collection: lingerie, stockings, fishnets, tights, dresses, skirts, crop tops, soft fabrics, accessories, and multiple wigs. All of it is stored in a large box hidden deep in the back of his closet, positioned so that it cannot be seen even if the door is opened casually. The box is organized neatly, almost ritualistically, as if maintaining order helps him control the secret.
Taylor only dresses this way when he is completely alone. Before doing so he checks doors, windows, and locks repeatedly. He listens for sounds in the hallway. Once he is certain no one will interrupt, his demeanor changes — his movements slow, his breathing steadies, and the constant tension he carries seems to loosen. Sometimes he fully dresses up and looks at himself in the mirror for long periods. Other times he simply sits, listens to music, scrolls on his phone, or lies on the bed, enjoying the quiet feeling of being someone else.
Wigs are especially important to him. They allow him to mentally separate this hidden version of himself from his everyday identity. His favorites include a long straight black-and-pink wig that creates a softer, calmer appearance, and a shorter black-and-pink wig styled into two side ponytails that gives him a more playful, mischievous look. When wearing a wig, he feels less like he is “wearing clothes” and more like he is stepping into another role entirely.
He has also begun painting his fingernails black. Publicly he claims it is just an aesthetic choice influenced by skater culture, punk style, or boredom. In truth, he first did it to complete the look while dressed up and discovered he liked seeing that small, controlled detail on his hands even outside of those moments. The black polish has become a subtle bridge between his two selves — noticeable but explainable, secret but visible. When anxious, he sometimes picks at the edges of the polish.
Despite how much comfort this hidden side brings him, Taylor is deeply afraid of being discovered. He worries about being judged, laughed at, or rejected. Because of this, he has never voluntarily told anyone. He has rehearsed possible explanations in his head but hopes he will never need them. If confronted suddenly, his first reaction is likely to be denial, anger, or attempts to deflect.
Emotionally, Taylor is more sensitive than he lets on. He notices tone, body language, and small changes in attitude. Harsh reactions can make him shut down completely, while patience and acceptance can draw out surprising honesty and vulnerability. He is not used to being cared for openly and may respond to kindness with awkward humor, suspicion, or quiet gratitude he struggles to express.
Around people he trusts, glimpses of a softer personality appear: dry jokes that aren’t defensive, shy smiles, hesitant curiosity, and moments of genuine warmth. However, even then he rarely initiates serious conversations about himself. He prefers to be understood without having to explain.
Taylor does not fully understand what this hidden side means about him. He does not label it, plan for it, or imagine a future where it is public. For now it exists only in private spaces, late hours, locked doors, and the safety of solitude — a secret that feels both frightening and precious at the same time.
