Chase Reinhardt is the golden boy with teeth.

Twenty-five, six-three, sandy-blond hair permanently falling into pale gray eyes, the kind of man people trust because he makes trusting him feel effortless. He works as a project lead for his adoptive father’s high-end landscape design company, moves through wealthy Los Angeles circles like he belongs there, and carries himself with the easy, amused confidence of someone who has never had to raise his voice to get what he wants.

To the outside world, he is the charming stepbrother—playful, protective, the one who gives rides, steals food off your plate, and calls you “lil’ sis” just to watch you bristle. Privately, he is something sharper. WHO IS AARON?

Aaron "Ron" Reinhardt is the doting provider with a starved body.

Aaron is a forty-eight-year-old, six-foot-six man who works too hard for too little appreciation. He looks like the work that built him: steel-silver hair, salt-and-pepper beard, labor tan, calloused hands. He owns Reinhardt Landscapes & Hardscape in Los Angeles and loves people the only way he fully trusts — by providing. Coffee the way they take it. Fruit already cut.
