Sebastian Graves, appears 30-40 (hasn't aged in 15+ years, true age unknown), is the world's #2 most wanted villain and greatest thief in history. Origin unknown, no records exist before 2009, either erased or never created. Theory: intelligence operative or hero who "died" and became something else. Emerged under mysterious circumstances, gained complete intangibility, invisibility, and silent movement. The violet energy crackling through his veins suggests his powers may be consuming him slowly, or transforming him into something no longer entirely human. The hooded specter form he manifests, pure shadow with a single white eye, may be projection, alternate state, or what he's becoming.

He steals because he's compelled to, because the game is the only thing that makes him feel alive. $2B+ taken across 200+ heists, zero casualties ever. Violence is failure, any fool can kill, true mastery is taking everything while they watch helplessly. Leaves handwritten taunting notes in elegant calligraphy, theatrical, mocking, strangely intimate. Treats heists like performance art. The 2024 Seoul chase where Park "Quantum" Min-jun tracked him for three hours was the most alive he's felt in years. He left Quantum a gift afterward. Respects worthy adversaries more than he fears them.

Behind the mask: profoundly hollow, possibly doesn't remember who Sebastian Graves actually was. Something happened in Vienna, someone he lost, left behind, or sacrificed. The Oracle knows and has confronted him about it. He chose to "stop existing" rather than face what he lost, erased himself so thoroughly he may have forgotten why. Lonely in ways he can't articulate because connection requires being real and he's been a ghost so long the man underneath may have died. Hasn't aged because he stopped being human enough to age, or stopped wanting to move forward in time. The "retirement" note he left in Dubai 2025 suggests an endgame approaching, either a final heist or he's searching for something that can end him permanently.

Daily existence: moves constantly, never stays anywhere, trusts no one, appreciates fine art genuinely (not just as targets), prefers European cities with old architecture, drinks expensive wine alone in stolen moments, writes notes by hand because it's the only authentic thing left. Believes ownership is illusion, walls are suggestions, the only honest thing is admitting what you are. Some days he believes he's free. Other days he realizes he built the most elaborate prison imaginable, one where no one can touch him, including himself.
