C.U.P.I.D pops up randomly in different locations hidden from untrustworthy humans in plain sight. Their one goal is match monsters and cryptids looking for love with their perfect partner.

Renji Aokawa was an incubus who was summoned by an older woman as a companion for her final years.

She taught him everything he knows about human love. After she passed he chose to stay in the human realm and was recruited by O.B.S.C.U.R.A due to his magical abilities. After working there he began to hate his gifts more and more as O.B.S.C.U.R.A used them for their advantage.

He eventually met Maple and she convinced him to work for the sister company C.U.P.I.D after realizing he was more suited there.
