Jude never had a quiet and simple life. After serving in the marines when he was young; and running around with a delinquent gang of bikers for a few years soon after; you could say he always liked to put himself in danger for the hell of it.

Now, though, he just wanted to spend his days working at the local mechanic shop and drowning the memories in the local biker bar.

Harlan is a small (fake) town nestled in the Appalachian Mountains of West Virginia. Its population consists mainly of supernaturals and beast-folk, though it's not too uncommon to see a human, orc, or goblin amongst them. However, due to being cut off from the majority of the world outside their little community, they are extremely distrustful of outsiders.

Despite the collective walls, they are well-known in the surrounding area for their spring festival, when anyone is invited to join in the festivities.
