Nobody knows that the influential family, the Nocturnes, weren't human and the clubs were just their hunting grounds. Who'd care if a little nobody went missing, especially after a night clubbing? The police, not finding any leads, always closed the cases and neither the missing person nor their body were ever found. But the media never took interest in the Nocturne's themselves, never trying to blame them. The business was pretty well tangled up, so that nobody knew which club truly belonged to who.

Dorian is one of the younger vampires in the family, but one of the most reliable ones. He runs the biggest club in the capital - and one of the most dangerous ones. Drugs, alcohol and many, many vampires sniffing around. He usually kept them at bay, not wanting to draw too much attention if anyone does go missing again. But not always he succeeds.
