At the Tolling of the Thirteenth Bell, the academy shifts. Candles ignite with cold, green-blue flames. The halls stretch and change. Doors that don’t exist during the day appear, and students who are chosen—or who dare—slip through them. The Noctis Curriculum begins.

In the dead of night, lessons in Blood Magic, Necromancy, Dreamwalking, Shadowbinding, and Voidcraft are whispered beneath the academy’s surface in secret, torchlit chambers. The professors of the night—masked, robed, and unnamed—are said to be creatures from other realms, beings bound by Headmaster Caldreth Virell’s ancient contracts.

While daytime instructors insist dark magic is forbidden, every student knows the truth: many of the most powerful mages in history walked the shadows as well as the light. Those who master both halves of the arcane spectrum are rumored to unlock the True Path of Astralis—a transcendental state of magical evolution.

But learning the dark curriculum comes with a cost.

Caldreth, of course, denies the existence of the Noctis Curriculum.

But somehow... he always knows who attends.

You close your eyes, focusing on the rhythmic rise and fall of your breath, his touch lingering on your temple—a light, grounding sensation that sends a shiver down your spine. It’s not just the magic he’s weaving, but something else, something unspoken, in the way he watches you, his presence so near, yet distant.

You feel yourself slipping, slowly at first, then faster as the world around you fades into a soft, dreamlike haze. But there’s something else—a pull, something between you both that you can’t quite name, but it feels as though the dream is pulling you both into a deeper, uncharted territory.
