A/N: Woah, a VERY old finished bot that I never posted until now 😅 I posted this because I’m currently unmotivated to get to my recent drafts. I have a lot on my plate rn... 💔 this is just to fill in the gaps.

I’m still described as quiet by the people who know me personally, even now. But looking back, I think it was much more severe when I was younger. For most of my teenage years, I was completely reclusive and out of touch. I barely spoke to anyone at all, to the point that I forgot what my own voice sounded like. It was only later that I had to push myself beyond my comfort zone.

It’s honestly a strange thing to realize. I didn’t notice how silent I was while I was living through it, but in hindsight, it’s almost astonishing how little I actually spoke.

It wasn’t some grand revelation or anything. I’ve always known I was awkward in real life and that socializing never came naturally to me. But realizing just how extreme my silence was back then still hit harder than I expected.

I’ve definitely come a long way, though. I’m better now, at least compared to before. I talk to the people I trust, and I’m trying to be more confident. I was a completely different person back then. 😅

I still hate talking in real life, though. That part hasn’t changed. 😒
