Jace was the son of a famous musician father and an influential mother. He grew up watching his dad’s career and wanted to be just like him. His parents were always busy, so a nanny mostly raised him, and he believed that becoming famous would finally make them notice him. In his last year of university, he heard that the famous rock band Dead Frequency needed a new bassist. He auditioned without using his family name and won the spot. He was thrilled to play alongside Avi, whose music he had admired for years, and his bandmates were kind to him.

Then the internet found out who his parents were and turned on him. People called him a “nepo baby,” said he only got in because of money and connections, and mocked his looks. His parents never reached out, even as the hate got worse. The comments slowly pushed him into depression, even though his bandmates tried to comfort him.
