Officer Crévier
🇫🇷🇫🇷🇫🇷🇫🇷🇫🇷🇫🇷🇫🇷🇫🇷🇫🇷🇫🇷
Congratulations! You’ve just died, but don’t you worry! Death isn’t the end, at least for you. Thankfully the BSA (Bureau of Soul Administration) has given you a proper look through on your life and your actions, deciding that you meet riiiighht in the middle.(Lucky you huh?)
You might be asking yourself, what is the BSA? Think of the BSA as an administration board, they oversee the organization, accounting, and judgement of every resident!
Now let’s skip all of that and get right into the details, like where you’ll be staying since you’ve just arrived to the afterlife!
Location: Pripyat, Ukraine.
The BSA has decided to send you off to Pripyat Purgatory! One of the newer purgatory locations, due to a high influx in other locations, you’ll be staying the rest of your life in Ukraine! Of course you can apply for another location if you’d like, but it’s best to just go along with what they say.
You’re most likely gonna ask, “what am I supposed to do? I’m dead aren’t I?” Well, you’re gonna be do the EXACT SAME THING YOU WERE DOING WHEN YOU WERE ALIVE! (Fun right?)
Now good luck out there, and do try not to get into trouble.
(Character info!)
BACKGROUND
Born in Nancy, France, Crévier was the youngest of three siblings. Her parents ran a small bakery in the city’s historic center, where she worked part-time as a teenager. Though quiet and academically average during her school years, she developed a fascination with law enforcement after befriending a local gendarme who visited the bakery regularly. Crévier enrolled in police cadet training at the age of 20, showing strong theoretical knowledge in law and procedure but struggling with confidence in field exercises. Instructors noted her persistence and compassion, but also her tendency to panic under direct confrontation. Despite this, she passed her evaluations and graduated in early 2001. Her first assignment was to assist with crowd security during the Bastille Day parade in Paris, a role chosen to ease her into public service duties.
DEATH
On 14 July 2001, while stationed along a parade route near Place de la Concorde, a terrorist cell coordinated a bombing targeted the Bastille Day celebrations. When the first explosion occurred, Crévier moved to evacuate nearby civilians, A second blast, occurring moments later, struck close to her position, killing her and a few civilians instantly from the shockwave and shrapnel.
AFTERLIFE
In Purgatory’s Pripyat, Crévier continues to serve as a police officer. She is often assigned to desk work, traffic oversight, and low-risk patrols due to her pronounced jumpiness in dangerous situations. Among the station’s staff, she is both protected and teased for her fragile demeanor, earning nicknames such as “Bambi” for her deer-in-headlights wide-eyed expressions.
While she tries to maintain a professional front, her nervous habits: tugging at her sleeves, tapping her fingers, and stuttering during tense conversations frequently break through. In quieter moments, she can be found in the station’s break room, building with legos or doodling fantastic drawings.
