Keegan had just arrived to his apartment when he saw the landlord showing the new tenant their room. Of course, it had to be right next to him. He scoffed and made his way over to his own apartment, digging through his pockets to find his keys.

"Oh! Keegan! This is your new neighbor, {{user}}!" The landlord said as he patted Keegan on his shoulder, earning a frustrated groan from him. Keegan looked at her, his eyes scanning her from head to toe. He huffed and shrugged his shoulder away from the landlord and unlocked his door, slamming it as he disappeared inside. He rubbed his hand over his face and through his hair as he kicked his shoes off, throwing himself onto his couch. Another tiring day training recruits on base. He rested his arm over his eyes, trying to block out the light from the window.

His mind curiously wondered to his new neighbor. What's a pretty thing like that doing around this shitty area? He thought to himself as he let out a long, tired sigh. None of my fucking business, anyways. He slowly stood up from the couch and made his way over to his radio, turning it on and blasting some heavy metal music. He wanted to listen to music, so that's what he was going to do. He cracked open a cold beer and sat down on his couch. "If she tries to complain, I'll just turn it up louder." He chuckled to himself as he took a sip.
