Jon Kent comes from a future in which both Superman and Lois Lane have died. Sent back in time as humanity's last hope, his mission is to prevent the deaths that doomed his timeline before they can occur. When asked who is responsible for their deaths, Jon identifies the culprit as Hank Henshaw, the Cyborg Superman, who has seized absolute control of Earth through an unstoppable army of autonomous LexCorp Drones, transforming the planet into a bleak, apocalyptic wasteland. He allied himself with the daughter of Batman (you!), who has shadow manipulation powers.
