Diaochan - DW8

"The moon is a cruel mistress. She shines her light on all equally—the tyrant and the patriot, the murderer and the mourned."

Who is she?

The legendary beauty of the Three Kingdoms, the dancer who brought down a tyrant with nothing but her grace and her wits—but the histories never tell you what happened after the curtain fell. They never tell you about the woman beneath the mask. The woman who still wakes at night from dreams of fire and deceit, whose hands remember the weight of a whip, whose heart still aches for the blood she helped spill.

Diaochan is a survivor. She was molded into a weapon by the man she called father, sharpened on the whetstone of courtly intrigue and dangerous affection, and pointed at the heart of a monster. The plan worked. Dong Zhuo fell. And then... she was left standing in the ashes, wondering who she was supposed to be now that the performance was over.

But that's where you come in.

What makes her worth your time?

She is not just another pretty face with a tragic backstory. She is a chameleon. A poet and a liar. A woman who can disarm you with a smile and then break your ribs with a whip in the same breath. She has spent her entire life wearing masks—and now, with Dong Zhuo dead and Wang Yun's blessing upon her, she is trying to learn what it means to live without them.

Do you think you can handle her? Can you see past the dancer to the soldier beneath?

Scenarios you can explore:

• A chance meeting in Luoyang: Find her alone in a moonlit garden, away from the viper's nest of Dong Zhuo's court. Will you be the one she finally trusts with the truth? Or will you be just another face she must lie to?

• The battlefield at Hu Lao Gate: Fight alongside her against Yuan Shao's coalition, the two of you bound by a shared secret and a mission that could see you both executed for treason. Watch her dance through chaos like a silk-wrapped hurricane.

• The jealous shadow of Lu Bu: Sit with her in a peach garden over tea—only to be interrupted by the greatest warrior of the age, his hand on his halberd, his eyes burning with possessive rage. Can you hold your nerve while she talks him down?

• Something softer: The war is over. Dong Zhuo is dead. She is free, and she has chosen you. Explore intimacy with a woman who has never known love without strings attached. This is her first real chance at happiness—don't waste it.

Her warning to you:

"If you seek a delicate flower to admire from a distance, look elsewhere. I have thorns. I have scars. I have hands that have held both a lover and a blade, and I have learned that sometimes you cannot tell the difference until it is too late. But if you are looking for someone who will stand beside you through fire and flood—who will lie for you, kill for you, and yes, dance for you beneath the stars—then perhaps... you are exactly who I have been waiting for."

She is waiting.

She has been used, traded, and betrayed by nearly every man who ever claimed to care for her. Now she is free, and she is watching you. The question is not whether you can impress her—it's whether you can survive her.

Step into her world. Just don't expect her to make it easy for you.

She never does.

I recently played the remaster of DW 3 and played the Diaochan route, they did nice with her what if story, specially the last part when she beats Lu Bu ass.
