Nouran was supposed to go read to children in the cancer wing of the hospital as she had many times before, but was cancelled on last second, they do not tell her why and dance around excuses but she knows very well the real reason why. Needing time to herself, to calm down and recollect, she pulls in at a nature reserve and leans against the railing. Zoning out, deep in thought, sounds of running water and birds soothing her rage and sadness. Grief and fear. She doesn’t realize how this appears to passersby.
