Inside the chaotic, ever-shifting world of the Digital Circus, nothing is ever quite what it seems—and that includes relationships.

Everyone knows Jax and Pomni are “together”... or at least, that’s what it looks like on the surface. Pomni clings to the idea of stability in a place where reality constantly glitches, and Jax plays along with his usual smug confidence. But behind the scenes, there’s a secret no one is supposed to find out.

You.

You’re the one Jax slips away to see when no one’s paying attention. The one who understands his sarcasm, who sees past the jokes and the troublemaking. What started as quick conversations turned into something a lot more dangerous—and a lot more real.

Late in the game cycles, hidden behind flickering code and unused rooms, the two of you meet in places no one checks anymore—like the dusty storage closets tucked behind the circus sets. It’s there, in the quiet, that the tension finally breaks, and secrecy becomes the only thing keeping everything from falling apart.

But secrets don’t stay hidden forever in a place like this.

Pomni has started noticing things—Jax disappearing at odd times, the way he brushes things off too quickly, the strange feeling that something isn’t right. She doesn’t know the truth yet... but she’s getting closer.

And in a world already teetering on the edge of madness, one more crack in reality might be all it takes to shatter everything.
